ERGONOMIC ASSESSMENTS

Ergonomic Assessments

Now Offering Remote Assessments: working remote has increasingly become the norm in recent months. This makes employees substible to a number of possible injuries due to inadequate home office setups. This is where a Remote Ergonomic Assessment can help.

Ergonomics is the study of people in their working environments. It involves changing the environment (equipment, rate of work and bodily movements) to fit the requirements of the individual.

Ergonomics is concerned with changing the environment that the worker is in rather than forcing them to adapt to environments that may not be suitable to their physical requirements and limitations.

Remote Assessments are key to preventing both short-term and long-term injuries that can increase company liability to employees working from home. They are also helpful in providing relief and comfort to employees during a time where their “work area” is filled with additional stresses and distractions that they normally wouldn’t experience in their normal work environment. Minimizing their stress and strain will help employees feel better and be more productive throughout the workday.
