TESTIMONIALS

Our Company recently had urgency for method statements which were needed to be put in place for works we were carrying out for one of our main contractors. We were given three days notice to produce this information and there was a huge panic in our office as our method statements were not up to date with some of our latest procedures. It was such a relief to make contact with your office, as you were able to take some details and, within a day you had three separate method statements in place for me to proof read. With plenty of time to spare we read through the statements and didn’t have to make any changes as they were perfect. The statements were so professionally laid out and held all the information which needed to be produced. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mackin Consultancy to anyone.

Over the last two years Eddie Herrick Electrical Ltd has used the services of Mackin consultancy for all its health and safety needs. The services required from my company vary from preparing and updating of health and safety statements to recently taking part in a first aid course. On each occasion I found Andy and his staff to be very professional and especially found the first aid course to be very well structured and beneficial.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Mackin Consultancy to any business and would like to thank Andy and his team for the excellent work and look forward to working with them in the future.

After an assessment of our company’s ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System, it was decided it required a complete review and overhaul. Phil Byrne was chosen to assist in this process.

As our organisation offers very different services in the maritime industry, from vessel operation to port services, we believed that it would be difficult to modernise and develop an effective QMS. Phil was able to strip the company back to the core practices, identify issues and suggest solutions. His knowledge of the ISO 9001:2008 standard is very detailed and his experience in developing and auditing Quality Management systems is very evident when working with him.

As a result of the review process he carried out, it was decided that Phil would be used to outsource our internal audit program, giving us more detailed audits, ensure an effective QMS. Phil has and continues to be a pleasure to work with and is very personable and willing to share knowledge to ensure great results.

I wish to confirm that I recently presented the Safety Statement that you did for this company to the HSE Cork. They in turn reverted to me to say that they were so impressed with the layout and standard of the safety statement, that they were going to recommend that all contractors across the board should provide a safety statement exactly like it.

I would just like to thank Mackin Consultancy for their professionalism and their on going support to my company in all matters relating to all of my health and safety issues with a large volume of clients we are dealing with at present and look forward to dealing with you going forward.

CEO Smarttech & Chairman of the Board at it@Cork European Technology Cluster

I recently engaged the services of Barry Crowley from Mackin Consultancy. I found Barry fabulous to deal with in all my dealings with him he gave me solid and practical advice in the areas where I required his services.

Barry re-drafted my safety statement and risk assessment documentation to bring it into line with current legislation and best practice. He also wrote a site specific method statement for 3 other projects I was involved in. From feedback this documentation made my company stand out from the others and this was due to having a a dedicated consultancy company write these up and not myself. I myself have also re-sat my safe pass in Mackin Consultancy’s offices in Mayfield and received my paperwork back in a timely fashion.

I will have no hesitation in recommending Barry Crowley to anybody who would be in need of such services.
