On Thursday 19th April 2018, Mackin Consultancy attended the Fourth Annual All-Ireland Business Summit at Croke Park, where we had the great honour of being accredited Global Thought Leader – Environmental, Health and Safety 2018-19, in the Business All Star Program.

The Business All Star Program is designed to identify and recognise Irish companies, or individuals, that have excelled, over the past twelve months, in their conduct of business. The competition reflects, through its 21 categories, the diverse stages of development and specialisation of Irish companies. In order to become an All Star Program winner, the company or individual will have shown, through a four-phase vigorous judging process that they are worthy recipients of the award.

The winners of each category are deemed to represent the highest level of performance in Irish business and, as such, are put forward as a benchmark to be equalled or exceeded. All winners are given All Star status.

When speaking at the event in Croke Park, Kieran F. Ring, CEO Global Institute of Logistics, Deputy Chairperson Adjudication Panel said;

“The decision to designate Mackin Consultancy  with  Global Thought Leader – Environmental,Health & Safety 2018-19 is based on the score achieved in four rounds of intense competition.

The application, supported by references, interviews and independent ratings from the ‘mystery shopper’ process left the adjudication panel in no doubt that Mackin Consultancy  is richly deserving of this accreditation. We would like to extend our sincere congratulations to all concerned and we wish you every success for the future”

The opportunity to hear first-hand feedback from our Judge-Mentor, our existing customers, partners and suppliers through the reference module combined with the results from the mystery shopper round was invaluable.

The competition finals benefited enormously from the atmosphere created at the All-Ireland Summit which was driven by the three key pillars of knowledge sharing, facilitating new business relationships and the continued improvement of business standards in Ireland, the All-Ireland Summit improves year-on-year – like so many of the great teams to have graced the hallowed turf of Croke Park.

Speaking at the summit, Dr. Briga Hynes, Kemmy Business School, University of Limerick, Chairperson Adjudication Panel summed up the entire process by reminding the enterprises honoured with All-Star that:

“Mackin Consultancy has demonstrated an ability to innovate and has impressive growth plans which no-doubt reflects the resilience and optimism that are the hallmarks of Irish entrepreneurs. Mackin Consultancy bring a real inspiration for what is possible in business in Ireland and provide important role models for the many aspiring entrepreneurs and existing small firms.”

Mackin Consultancy are now included in the All-Stars 2018-19 Roll of Honour the list is published annually to coincide with the All-Ireland Business Summit at Croke Park.
