Do you have a Covid-19 policy in place?

During this unprecedented time, Mackin is aware that it is more important than ever that companies, regardless of size or industry, revise or create strategies, policies and procedures that are intended to protect employees, customers and operations.

It is vitally important that companies consider the wider risk impact of Covid – 19 on their business operations, their employees and their wider stakeholders.

As Covid – 19 has changed the way in which many companies are conducting business, it is advised that your Safety Statement is updated so that any new hazards that may be present, can be assessed. Your Risk Assessment can be updated, and the appropriate control measures can be implemented.

Also of importance, is the need for many businesses to produce specific risk communications/community engagement policies. Mackin are currently consulting with companies to help produce this type of documentation, which is relevant to all businesses but particularly to firms that adhere to a standards authority such as ISO, or are part of the tendering process. Mackin Please see the linked PDF document regarding Special Measures for the Prevention of Risk during the Covid-19 Crisis – 2020. All Mackin policies and protocols are developed following guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO); The Health Service Executive of Ireland (HSE); and The Health & Safety Authority (HSA).
